Last Year's Cup Win


With The Scottish Communities League Cup final on Sunday, this blog takes a look back to when Celtic won the Scottish Cup last season.

Aren't we in for a treat this weekend with St Paddy's day and the cup final on Sunday! I cannot wait to work this weekend! Most people would be depressed at the fact they're working Friday night, Saturday night and then Sunday but not me!



I can tell this weekend at Celtic Park is going to be wild with both Friday and Saturday night turning into a party for St Paddy's Day. I have never worked on St Paddy's day before so I can't wait. I can just tell the atmosphere is going to be amazing, especially since the next day is a huge day for all Celtic fans around the world.


The cup final at Hampden on Sunday isn't the same cup that Celtic won last year, however if they win, the party afterwards will be just as wild. As we know Celtic didn't have the greatest of seasons last year but they played well and beat Motherwell 3-0!

If they win and the party afterwards is anything like last year's I cannot wait. Last year we ended up working quite late as we had to stay on to work in the player's lounge at the player's party. I wasn't complaining though they were all in high spirits and the place was just wild.

At about 12 we were allowed to leave when us and our bosses decided to go up town to Bamboo with the players to celebrate. Whilst we were waiting on the taxis in the security office we got the chance to lift the cup they just won. 

Let's hope they win on Sunday as I wouldn't mind getting the chance to lift the cup again or go out partying as it was one of the best nights out ever!  Go on Celtic and make us proud!
